From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.   Christopher William Darwin (born 1961 in London) is an environmental philanthropist, adventurer, and media personality who lives in Australia. He is the great-great-grandson of Charles Darwin. His charitable work and nature advocacy, including his help funding the purchase of a nature preserve in Australia and a book covering a record-setting mountaineering achievement of his, have been the source of considerable notice in Australia.
